Directions

The main international airport is Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU), about a 30-40 minute drive from the hotel. The easiest and most comfortable way to get to the hotel is by a private transfer, or shared shuttle service that meets all arriving flights at the airport and takes guests directly to the door of the hotel. Renting a car at the airport is also highly favored since it allows freedom to widen exploration in the Julian Alps region, such as Lake Bohinj and Vintgar Gorge.

Travelers using public transport can catch a frequent and cheap bus directly to Bled from the main Ljubljana bus station (adjacent to the train station). The journey lasts between 75 and 90 minutes. The Park Hotel is convenient for walking from the Bled bus station-15 minutes maximum-or just a very short, inexpensive taxi ride.

The main A2 motorway links Ljubljana with Austria. Bled is just off this road for people coming by car. GPS finds the hotel easily, right on the main road around the lake. Another big plus for the hotel is that it offers parking to its guests because parking spots are available and very difficult and expensive to secure in Bled, particularly close to the lake.
