A walker’s paradise. That is what describes the place where Hotel Park is located. The hotel sits right on the main lakeside promenade, which happens to be the most beautiful walk in all of Slovenia. One can step out from the hotel and immediately begin a 6-kilometer walking tour that circles around the entire lake with wonderful views from every angle. Just a few minutes’ walk along this same path brings one to the main boat docks where it is possible to hire a “pletna” boat-visit trip up to Bled Island and its church.

The hotel is also at the base of the hill on which Bled Castle stands. The main footpath to the castle, a steep but rewarding 15-minute climb, begins just a short walk from the hotel. From the castle ramparts, the views are absolutely breathtaking. The charming town center of Bled, with its selection of restaurants, cafes, and shops, is also within a 5-10 minute walk, making it incredibly easy to find a spot for dinner or to browse for souvenirs.

For more adventurous walkers, the popular hiking trails to viewpoints like Ojstrica and Mala Osojnica, which offer the most famous panoramic photos of the lake, also start from the western end of the lake, all reachable on foot from the hotel. This location allows you to park your car and explore the very best of Bled entirely on foot.
